Not Too Little Speech Therapy, LLC complies with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (“HIPAA”). Protected Health Information (PHI) is used only for treatment, payment, and healthcare operations. PHI is not shared with outside parties for marketing or non-clinical purposes.

Telepractice

When services are provided via telepractice, sessions are conducted using HIPAA-compliant platforms. Sessions are not recorded or stored unless required for clinical or legal documentation.

Children’s Privacy

We specialize in serving children from birth through 3 years of age (Early Intervention). Selective services may be provided up to 18 years of age for children who are medically fragile or unable to access school-based supports.

We collect children’s information only for clinical evaluation and therapy, with parent/guardian consent.

We do not knowingly use children’s information for marketing.

If you are under 13, you must have a parent or guardian’s permission to use this website.

Parents who have questions about how their child’s data is collected or used may contact us at any time.

Insurance & Payment Processing

We may share client information with health insurance companies and third-party payors for verifying benefits, obtaining authorizations, and billing for services.

Payment card transactions are processed by secure third-party processors; Not Too Little Speech Therapy, LLC does not store full card numbers on our systems.

Insurance Disclaimer: Insurance benefit verification does not guarantee payment. Final financial responsibility rests with the client/guardian for all services provided. Any denied or unpaid balances are the responsibility of the client/guardian.

Data Retention

Clinical and billing records are retained in accordance with HIPAA and Nevada state law. In most cases, records are maintained for a minimum of 6–7 years after the last date of service, or longer if required by law or payer contract.

Right to Deletion

You may request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions. We may not be able to delete data that is required to:

  • Complete an ongoing clinical or financial transaction

  • Comply with legal, HIPAA, or insurance record-keeping requirements

  • Detect or prevent fraud or security incidents
